Articulating Crane

The Articulating Crane Operator course helps operators to gain their ABC or ABW CCO certification. With the use of Student Guides, Practice questions, power point, and hours of hands on training, the instructor will prepare the candidates for what’s required to successfully pass CCO written and CCO practical exams.

This course is available through a training program that is customized to fit your needs and budget.

Technical Knowledge
Load Charts

Certification requires a candidate must pass the CCO written core and at least one written CCO specialty examination, as well as the corresponding CCO practical exams) in order to be certified for a five-year period.

For the CCO written examination Candidates are given 90 minutes to complete each of the written examinations,

Articulating Boom Crane (ABC)—65 questions
Articulating Boom Crane w/Winch (ABW)—75 questions

The CCO Practical Exam consists of 6 timed tasks using an Articulating Crane without a winch

After the preparation and training, Blue Line will facilitate the CCO written and CCO practical exams required for ABC and/or ABW CCO certification.
